The Xbox One, The new generation of gaming, with its release it has had many problems with both hardware and software as well as many feature from our beloved Xbox 360 that apparently never made the cut. Below I will be talking about the issues I personally have with my Xbox One and will go over some of the things I would like to see added back or new ideas I would like to see used.
The Problems
I, along with many others (Around 20 % of all user had the disk drive issues at launch) had disk drive issues. If it was chewing, an aggressive noise, or in my case just no power to my disk drive. As upsetting as these issues are the solution I was give to this problem was amazing. A new Xbox One in 3 to 5 days and I get to hold onto the Xbox One I have and get a digital game for free. I found this to be a great answer to the issues. Keep the players play and solve the problem quick and effectively. If this was the only issue I had with my Xbox One I would be the extremely happy but it was not.
Other issues I have had included fixing my party chat to work with an OPEN NAT that was constantly switching to strickt and back to open not allowing me to play with other players online as well as not allowing party chat to be accessed. I found the answer to that problem on youtube but at the cost of my Xbox One's "Xbox on" voice commands with connect.
I also had issues with being in party and not being able to find a match against a random player it would force the people in my party into my game without even asking for permission to come into my game. I would have to leave party chat. Join a match. The go back into party chat. Just so I could talk with my friends. I can see most of these issues being fixed right away but I thought Xbox needed to be aware.
Also as a game side note. Don't know why but Ryse: Son of Rome loves to record it self and its annoys my UPLOAD area.
Suggestion
Please PLEASE PLEASE!!! Bring back regular party invites and games invites. Xbox 360 made it so easy to invite someone it the game that you were in and join up quickly. I would love to have that back.
When my friends pop online I would love to know about it . My friend had to message me on Facebook in order for me to realize that he had been online for the past 20 mins. Feed is a great idea but it need to be extra to what already worked. No one wants to put up a snap of something unless its absolutely needed.
Also I do not know if this exist or not but I would deeply enjoy to see WHAT you are trying to fix. What you're working on. So I know that my problems will all be resolved.
